Thousands of Whatsapp users are experiencing difficulties tonight after reports that the messaging app is down.
Downdetector.co.uk received several thousand reports from across Europe this evening that people were having trouble connecting or accessing the app.
According to the independent site, problems began in Holland and have spread to various parts in the UK - with people in Liverpool and across Merseyside claiming they are having connection problems.
From the last hour, 60% of reports have been about connection problems, while 24% of people are having issues receiving messages.
